Description:
Role- Web Technical LeadLocation- Lansing Mi- (Day one onsite)Type- Fulltime permanent. The Web Administrator provides operational support of the web server infrastructure in order to maintain optimal performance and functionality of multiple websites. This includes the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and tuning of web servers. Additionally, the Web Administrator troubleshoots server issues and provides technical support to Web design and development teams.Required skills: Understanding on automated deployment as well as on Upgrade process and automation.Required: Jboss #7.x.x EAP JBOSSEssential Job Duties & Responsibilities Supports the installation, configuration, security, operations, and maintenance of all web servers, application servers and other software. Conducts application and infrastructure monitoring Monitors usage statistics and logs and produces reports on user and web site behavior. Implement updates, upgrades, and patches in a timely manner to limit loss of service. Troubleshoots web/application server problems and security issues and resolves as necessary. Tests backups or recovery plans regularly and resolves any issues. Collaborates with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve usability issues.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong Scripting experience (shell, perl, tcl, or python). Strong Knowledge and working experience of Apache; JBoss, J2EE technologies. JBoss strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of security certificates management. Knowledge of ARA technologies or deployment automation techniques Strong Knowledge of Devops Tools (Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, , Jfrog, Xray) Experience integrating tools into pipelines used for Continuous Integration (CI) Experience handling and managing secrets in a secure way in the CI pipeline Experience authoring scripted pipelines, preferably using the Groovy language Experience supporting development teams in troubleshooting issues/failures with their pipelines. Experience supporting development teams in resolving branch and merge issues in their code repository. Experience reviewing developer code for false positives on identified vulnerabilities. Experience configuring and running deployment tools and setting up gates in the pipeline to ensure security and quality before deploying into production Knowledge of Apigee, F5 loadbalancer and familiarity with Akamai rules management. Knowledge of Linux, AIX and/or Solaris operating system(s). Knowledge of application and infrastructure monitoring with AppDynamic, Prometheus or similar software. Basic familiarity with troubleshooting JAVA applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, within a team structure. Strong written and verbal communication and skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Education and Experience Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience and/or education.7-10 years experience doing application or infrastructure support in an enterprise setting.Tech Mahindra is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
