Description:
Design and architect the Unix/Linux Systems and Storage layout Write scripts and batch files to enhance the function of the operating system Configure and install Solaris, Linux (Oracle Enterprise Linux / Redhat Enterprise Linux) and HP-UX operating systems as well as storage in response to the demands of a complex network design Prepare solution design for setting up Virtual environment Recommend specific tools strategies, and solutions for Datacenter Migration, Cloud Migration and DR solutions Consulting Implement VMWare solutions Design and orchestrate automation environment to maintain infrastructure stability Design and architect the Cloud infrastructure layout on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Configure scripts to automate snapshots and backups Design security layout for Cloud infrastructure. This position has no direct reports and no management discretion nor authority. Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study plus at least five (5) years post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: At least two of the following operating systems: Red Hat Linux Enterprise (7.x., 6.x., 5.x.), Ubuntu (20.04, 18.04), Centos, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Shell Scripting (Bash) and SQL VMWare and Oracle VM Amazon Web Services and Oracle Cloud Jenkins At least two of the following monitoring tools: SolarWind, Zabbix, Nagios, or Nessus At least two of the following backup tools: Veeam, vRanger, Net Vault, NetBackup, eVault, or RSYNC OCS Inventory No travel required. Work from home available. Job duties are project-based & performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the US which may require relocation.
