Job Title: Next Gen Director Reports To: Lead Pastor Position: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Overview & Responsibilities: Oversees all aspects of ministry to families at North Ridge Church, from birth through young adults. Personally leads the North Ridge Students ministry. Aligns Leaders Champions vision and values of kids and youth ministry throughout the church Facilitates effective meetings to collaborate with key leaders Manages budget and resources needed to make kids and youth ministry successful Refines the Message Produces strategic experiences that are relevant and engaging Designs and promotes a scope and cycle that prioritizes core messages Develops and improves a diverse team to communicate and lead experiences Elevates Community Implements a system to recruit and train small group leaders Manages group structure to connect kids and teenagers relationally with peers and leaders Leverages digital strategies to enhance learning and relationships Engages Every Parent Designs strategic opportunities to help every parent stay connected Provides resources and experiences that help parents lead their own kids in practicing the way of Jesus Leverages digital strategies to keep parents inspired and informed Influences Service Recruits and develops students as volunteers in various ministries Trains adult leaders to co-lead with teenagers Partners with community organizations to engage families to serve Evaluation and Compensation: The Next Gen Director receives an annual performance evaluation. Compensation is reviewed annually.
