Erema North America TITLE: Senior Accountant DEPARTMENT : Finance PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB To create, adjust, and review all aspects of the financial performance of the company. Contributes in all facets of the day-to-day operations of a finance department. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform month end closings of various financial accounts to GAAP (i.e. warranties, fixed assets, A/R, A/P etc.) Support and cover A/R and A/P employees Oversee collection and warranty invoices Collaborate with HR on payroll - payroll backup Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements by inputting all monthly adjustments into system, and creating balance sheet and income statement Review all circumstances for warranties/ refunding customers/ returning parts to inventory and strive to continuously reduce/ close open issues. Keep communications going between Erema North America and the Head office and the customers/vendors on ongoing issues. Assist other departments in this process where needed Liquidity planning and forecasts for Erema and the Head office in Austria Manage year end closing and financial audit KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Organization and the ability to meet deadlines Between three and five years of progressively more responsible experience is required. A relatively high level of analytical ability along with problem-solving skills SAP & Great Plains experience is a plus Proficient with Microsoft office The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
