Job Title: Material Handler (Tailor) Reports to: Operations Resource Leader Shift: Days; M-F FLSA Status : Hourly Summary: This position will be responsible for moving materials into the Warehouse upon receipt, moving materials into production for consumption, and moving finished goods to trailers. The shift will be from 545a-415ppm and will report to production following the production schedule. The primary function of this position will be to receive finished good into Sage and relocate the materials onto trucks and assist with transfers to outside storage. Other duties will include but are not limited to validating counts, GS1 labels, transfer paperwork, close and lock trailer, RZ and Sage data, Order Data entry, Scanning RLS paperwork, forklift training for the plant, returning and counting material to the warehouse, prepping the next day, and cycle counting. This position will provide break support and other support to the production and warehouse team as needed. Job Description: Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner. Responsible for upholding Food Defense Participates in Kaizen, CI and 5-S activities, as required. Oversight of storage compliance (temperature controlled, chemical, etc) Escalate safety & quality Incidents to Quality Assurance or Management Report and record inventory errors. Create Excel reports, graphs and PowerPoint presentations as needed or required. Perform data validation in ERP system to verify recorded outbound information. Communicate with kindness and professionalism. Oversight of Good Manufacturing Practices and required PPE usage. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated excellent teamwork. Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels in the organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
