Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones. Supervision and Coordination: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for on-site personnel. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Budget Management: Monitor project costs and expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Work with the project manager to ensure the project stays within budget. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on-site. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including daily reports, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information). Generate progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Implement creative solutions to overcome challenges and keep the project on track. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Mentor and develop junior staff members.Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are advantageous. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously. Experience in supervising and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera) and MS Office Suite. Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
