Must Live On-Site Seeking qualified maintenance technicians to join our team! Candidate must have basic knowledge in all maintenance areas and be able to work professionally handling Guest work order requests. You must be able to with cohesively with co-works as well as front desk and housekeeping staff. This is a Barter Position requiring the candidate to live on-site working 30 hours for their room, and the balance of hours to be paid. Responsibilities:• Basic maintenance of the hotel including all common areas as well as Guest Rooms• Routine Repairs• Carpentry• Painting and drywall• Plumbing repairs i.e. fixtures, sinks, faucets, tubs, caulking, leaks, toilets• Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacement• Maintain the exterior and "curb appeal" as required• Outside building painting• Pool Maintenance (when needed)• Custodial Duties including trash pickup throughout the property• Change door locks• Setting up event space with tables and chairs• Effectively communicate with Guests as well as all departments to coordinate work orders• Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and Corporate Office Qualifications:• Knowledge of basic plumbing• Knowledge of basic electrical• Knowledge of flooring• Painting and sheetrock• Experience with general maintenance tools and repairs• Troubleshooting ability• Able to take direction from General Manager and provide daily work log• This is a barter position requiring candidate to live on site working 30 hours to pay for the cost of the room, balance of hours to be paid hours Compensation: $9 - $10 hourly About Company: Our Wyndham property is in the center of the business district of Warner Robins. We are located close to the Warner Robins Air Force Base. Our employees are expected to work as a team and be able to handle all guest situations with a smile!
