We are currently working with a rapidly growing CPA firm based in Universal City, Texas seeking talent to join their team. Don't live nearby? They will work with you to relocate! What's the role? Attest / Audit / Assurance Seniors and Managers are responsible for managing client relationships while auditing their financial records for compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. This includes: Analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and performing research to present proposed solutions. Training, mentoring, and managing team members in audit processes. Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses. Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs. What experience and skills do I need to be successful? 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience. CPA certification or ability to attain desired. Audit team members do need to flex time up their work hours during peak audit times, but enjoy the comp time you earn for hours worked over 40 in a week as extra time off the rest of the year!
