Volt is immediately hiring a TIG Welder for a local leading organization of Manufacturing in Otay Mesa.As a TIG Welder you will: * Modify existing metal, new tooling and creating jigs and fixtures for machining and welding efficiently. * Operate appropriate equipment to assemble tooling with a great deal of precision. * Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential * Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area. * Performs other duties as necessary * Modification of tooling by welding and milling * Initiate and control paperwork associated with jobs received * Carry out direct orders of supervisorThis is a Full Time 1-Year opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * Certified welder in Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) * 3-5 years experience as a production welder preferred * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Must possess basic math skillsSchedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-1:30PMPay Rate: $22 per hour.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
