In this dynamic, ever-changing, and fast-paced environment, you'll be a vital part of the manufacturing and operations process. Temp-to-Hire Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday Pay rate: $19/hr Some of your duties may include: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating all fill lines for waterborne and solvent-borne finishes, sealers, stains, maintenance products, etc. Assist in the development of SOPs for new products and procedural improvements Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as directed by preventative maintenance software Maintain rework warehouse reworked product as directed by the Quality Control Department Keep the production work area clean and adhere to the 5'S Housekeeping Standards (clean up spills immediately, throw refuse into appropriate cans, etc.) Adhere to and strive to exceed operating efficiency standards Follow all safety guidelines established by the company Assist in other areas as directed Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary Contribute to the development and continual improvement of SHEQ Management Systems In this role, you will need to: Be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the work shift Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk for up to 75% of the work shift Must be able to move within the office and plant to reach file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to use dexterity to handle small safety equipment and/or hazardous material Must be able to lift and carry 15-25 lbs. and frequently move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and also both written and verbal forms Have a High School Diploma, equivalent work experience, or GED Have 1-2 years work experience in manufacturing Must possess basic math skills for calculating percentages, dilutions, ratios, averages, etc. Must possess troubleshooting skills that can be utilized in daily work Preventative maintenance experience of pumps and machinery and forklift experience is a plus Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and be able to sit and squat throughout the day repetitively Apply today for this exciting opportunity.
