Data Scientist: CARiD is a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist with deep expertise in deploying machine learning models.The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of time series forecasting as well as understanding of large language models (LLMs). Key Responsibilities: Development and deployment of machine learning models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for leveraging company data.· Manage projects from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring models are scalable, efficient, and seamlessly integrated into production environments. Optimize model performance and data processing workflows within Databricks, adhering to best practices for data engineering and model management. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, incorporating innovative tools and techniques into our data science practices. Articulate and document findings and model developments. Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record in deploying production-level machine learning models. Experience working in retail, marketing, or e-commerce, automotive industry preferred. Expertise in Databricks for comprehensive data analysis, model development, and deployment, including proficiency with MLflow for model lifecycle management. Strong programming skills in Python (5+ years preferred) or Scala, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Hugging Face Transformers for LLMs. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
