The Role – Business Development Manager Working as part of the Zirconium Business Development team, you will manage opportunities within the Clean Energy Sector and generate new openings in this market, your duties will include: Innovative approach to develop and drive opportunities with current and prospective customers Identify, Generate, and commercialise new and existing opportunities Manage existing customer portfolio in this area Market and Product Development Manage the Opportunity Pipeline for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells area Build business case for long term investment in the area Working closely with the Technical / R&D Teams and local Universities and producing literature for new product and market areas Participating in the innovation of the product portfolio and helping shape future markets for growth Attending and representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions Travelling to meet customers, distributors, and to events Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested. What you’ll need to be considered for this Business Development Manager role: Experience gained working in a Business Development role, with a strong technical background, ideally gained in the Chemicals Industry Positive approach and results-driven, with a focus on insight and strategy IT literate, with knowledge of CRM software systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Self-motivated with ability.
