The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, possess strong legal knowledge, and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.Duties:Design and ensure compliance with qualified retirement plans, encompassing tax and fiduciary aspects.Draft plan documents and summary plan descriptions.Negotiate service provider contracts and review investment management agreements.Counsel plan sponsors and fiduciaries on compliance requirements and fiduciary best practices.Manage client relationships and provide ongoing support.Requirements:3-5 years of experience with qualified retirement plans.Strong interest in non-ERISA public retirement plans and church plans.Knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and related regulatory frameworks.Experience with IRS voluntary compliance programs.Familiarity with governmental 457(b) plans and the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013.Admission to practice law in California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong client relationship management skills.
