The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of relevant experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical patent litigation and a strong educational background in biology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or chemistry.Duties:Conducting legal research and analysis related to life sciences patent litigation mattersDrafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsParticipating in all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and managing document reviewCollaborating with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communicationsAssisting with trial preparation, including witness preparation and presentation developmentProviding support in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedingsRequirements:2-6 years of experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical patent litigationBachelor's degree or advanced degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or chemistryStrong academic credentialsAdmission to the New York State Bar (or ability to waive in)Excellent written and oral communication skillsOutstanding organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamEducation and Certifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or chemistryAdmission to the New York State Bar (or ability to waive in)Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases A general practice firm that has specialist lawyers in many areas of law, this firm's attorneys have unrivaled experience in law and government as several of them have served in various capacities across multiple agencies and administrations.
