The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Experience in data privacy or life sciences is advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in mergers and acquisitions, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute analysis, and/or hospital representation.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the healthcare industry.Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends.Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare transactions and regulatory compliance.Advise clients on matters related to data privacy and security in healthcare.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in North Carolina.5-10 years of experience in transactional and regulatory healthcare law.Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.Experience in mergers and acquisitions within the healthcare industry.Strong academic credentials with a focus on healthcare law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Certifications:Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong project management abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction.Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
