Practice Area: Litigation - Construction - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is currently seeking a qualified Mid-Level Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Nashville, TN.Job Overview:The Mid-Level Construction Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for litigating construction claims in both court and arbitration settings, focusing on issues such as design errors, work quality, delay, job cost accounting, and surety bond-related disputes. This role requires a candidate with at least 3 years of relevant experience in construction litigation, strong academic credentials, excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team. A Juris Doctorate degree and admission to practice law in Tennessee are mandatory for this position.Duties:Litigate construction claims in court and arbitration settings.Handle disputes related to design errors, work quality, delay, job cost accounting, and surety bond issues.Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies.Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Participate in negotiations and settlements.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in litigating construction claims.Strong academic credentials.Excellent communication and writing skills.Excellent drafting skills.Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.Technical degrees related to construction are a plus.Education:Juris Doctorate degree required.Certifications:Admission to practice law in Tennessee is mandatory.Skills:Litigation skills in construction claims.Legal research and analysis.Negotiation and settlement skills.Excellent communication and writing skills.Team collaboration and interpersonal skills.Job Location:Nashville, TN
