They will handle a diverse caseload and collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies.Job Details:Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Draft and review legal documents related to bankruptcy proceedings.Train support staff on legal procedures and protocols.On bankruptcy matters, provide legal advice and guidance to clients, including banks, servicers, credit unions, and other entities.Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal issues.Stay updated on changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and organized case files.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in Michigan.Strong knowledge of relevant bankruptcy laws, regulations, and legal principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Minimum of 3 years of experience in bankruptcy law.Benefits offered:The firm offers benefits including:401(k) retirement plan.Dental insurance.Health insurance.Life insurance.Paid time off.Vision insurance.
