This role supports the Commercial Rotation Program (CRP) and Investment Banking Development Program (IBDP), which enable junior talent to accelerate their careers in commercial banking. If you're ready to start a rewarding journey and be a part of a team that will value your contributions, you may be a fit!We are looking for a L&D lead to own the strategy, design, and implementation of our end-to-end learning experiences for our full time associate and internship programs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading projects and processes in a well-managed way. We are looking for team players who are solutions-oriented; are comfortable working in ambiguity; and have stellar communication, data analysis and facilitation skills.Summary of ResponsibilitiesBuild and own relationships with senior business leaders, stakeholders, and external vendors to identify learning & development gaps and align to business goalsPartner with key stakeholders and program managers to set the strategy and design of our end-to-end learning strategies & experiences (Onboarding, Experience Weeks, etc.)Consult and problem solve across our team and the broader Capital One U organizationFacilitate training sessions, interactive activities, and manage large scale events. This may involve flexible working hours and travel, depending on the needs of the program or event.Explore Commercial Banking industry trends and share best practices to continuously improve offeringsEvaluate program health + associate learning gaps through feedback, assessments, and metrics analysisProvide coaching and support to managers and associates to promote continuous learning and professional developmentCollaborate with program leads, key stakeholders, and HRBPs to integrate L&D initiatives into talent and performance management processesWork closely with a passionate and fun team, and be willing to pitch in and help wherever neededBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 4 years of project management or at least 4 years of recruiting or at least 4 years of consulting experience or a combinationAt least 2 years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning and DevelopmentAt least 2 years of experience in Google Suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of project management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combinationAt least 5 years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning and DevelopmentAt least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital ConsultingExperience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changesExperience within banking or talent development/management At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
