ATA Services, Inc. is looking to hire a Fiscal Coordinator to work on a temporary assignment with Bernalillo County Fire Department. Pay: $25.60 per hour; weekly pay. Start Date: As soon as possible Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm Location: Northwest Albuquerque Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test JOB DESCRIPTION:The fiscal Coordinator will develop and maintain financial reporting systems. Provide instruction and technical assistance for other components. Prepare monthly financial statements.Prepare budget and budget reports, review, and submit all disbursement, inventory, supply ledgers, and purchase requisitions. Prepare monthly financial statements including reconciliation of all bank accounts for the various programs funded and resident accounts. Prepare Youth Services Center budget and budget reports as required. Review and submit all disbursement, inventory and supply ledgers and purchase requisitions to the Department Director. Analyze department accounting procedures; revise or recommend revisions to increase efficiency of operation. Exercise budget controls through review and approval of the obligations and expenditures of funds for management and administrative purposes. Assist the Department Director in the coordination of office services, personnel, payroll, budget preparation and control. Responsible for capital and operating budgets. Provide technical expertise on budgetary matters by reviewing the impact of Youth Services Center commission agenda items. Oversee and direct the work of subordinate personnel as required. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Systems Engineering or related field, and five (5) years of related work experience in project management, program analysis, budgeting and/or finance.
