The Litigator will handle a significant caseload from inception to post-trial, attending various legal proceedings, preparing litigation documents, and maintaining client communication. They must possess strong advocacy skills, legal expertise, and technological proficiency. Duties:Manage a substantial caseload from start to finishAttend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trialsDraft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documentsProvide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients on case statusCultivate client relationships through effective communication and relationship-building strategiesTravel to different courthouses and locations as necessaryFulfill monthly billing requirementsMaintain a professional demeanor in the office environmentDemonstrate expertise in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigationUtilize knowledge of all litigation phases from pleadings to trialConduct depositions effectivelyExhibit strong oral advocacy and writing skillsEvaluate cases accuratelyHold a Good Standing Membership with the Florida BarPossess familiarity with Microsoft Office productsDisplay confidence in using process management systems and leveraging available technology and automation tools Requirements:1-3+ years of experience in first-party property or PIP defense litigation Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolGood Standing Membership with the Florida Bar Benefits Offered:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401k with matchingEmployer-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance
