Position Overview Responsibilities include the safe and environmentally responsible production, testing and manufacturing of products within prescribed quality specification ranges. Participate in safety, environmental, quality and production programs and audits of the plant. Understands and troubleshoots equipment; participates in housekeeping, maintenance, and equipment preparation activities Job Responsibilities The operator of the urea-formaldehyde resin manufacturing process is required to perform the following tasks during his working day. Follows all EHS and factory requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Carry out inspection checks of the mixing container of the different chemical components. Maintain a commitment to safety by preventing illness, injury and advocating for environmental protection. Wear the PPE prescribed for the task at hand. Including, but not limited to, hard hats, steel toe shoes, goggles, and respirators. Operate manufacturing process control equipment and perform operational requirements such as truck loading and unloading. Use of forklift. Issue and monitor safe work, hot work and confined space permits. Monitor, track and record operating conditions. Follow procedures to produce a quality-compliant.
