Audit & Tax Accountant An ADP client is currently recruitingfor experienced individuals to join their Audit, and Tax teams in their Downtown Manhattan, NY 10006 location. About the Role : As a member of the engagement team, you will be involved inall aspects of audit and accounting, and tax engagementsfor clients in a broad range of industries. What You Will Do : Core duties and responsibilitiesinclude the following. Auditing: All aspects of audit, review, and SSARS 21engagements, including engagement planning, performing audit procedures,preparation of work papers, and financial statements. Interact with client staff to gatherinformation, resolve issues, and make recommendations for business and processimprovements. Work closely with members of the engagementteam. Perform other related duties asassigned by supervisor or manager. Tax: Responsibilities include analyzingclient records, preparation of tax work papers, tax projections and planningand preparation of U.S. corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual taxreturns. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Our Perfect Candidate Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree inAccounting. Progress toward CPAcertification, a plus Should have 2 to 3years of current quality CPA firm experience. We also have openings fortax seniors/supervisors with 4 to 5 years' experience. Experience with CCH Engagement, ProSystem FX Tax, and XCM Workflowsoftware is a MUST. Should have experience working with closely held companies in a broadrange of industries including real estate, investment partnerships, familyoffices, wholesale distribution and healthcare. Should have experience working with U.S. federal and multi-statereturns, as well as exposure to tax research (for Tax role). Required Abilities and Skills: Strongtechnical skills Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationskills. Able to manage multiple projects and work efficiently in apaperless environment. The ability to work independently or as part of a team. A desire to grow professionally and commitment to clientservice. Company Offers: Salary range is $80k to $90k, commensurate with experience and education.
