The Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC), a non-profit organization funded primarily by the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is looking for an experienced, hands-on, and technically proficient Director of Finance to direct the agency's fiscal operations which encompass an annual $60 to $80 million dollar budget. This position requires an individual willing to assume a strong leadership role to ensure that the organization is financially sound in a frequently changing and challenging budgetary environment. The general responsibilities for this position will be overseeing all agency accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting functions and cooperating with external financial audit agencies to ensure financial and regulatory compliance. Managing a professional and administrative staff is a significant aspect of the work. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Finance.
