At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:As a Cage Cashier Banker, you will be responsible for processing monetary transactions and exchange with guests.THE STARTING RATE: $19.50THE DAY-TO-DAY: Perform frontline entry level transactions, chip bank transactions, poker transactions, cage credit transactions and employee bank/window transactions Perform functions in a marker, cash bank, main bank and Poker banks Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets; record all checks cashed in the specified computer system Balance bank at end of shiftMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or a GED One-year prior cage cashiering experience Ability to work various shifts, which includes weekends and holidaysTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Experience working in a similar resort setting General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling Ability to balance a bank without assistance (identifying errors when out of balance) Demonstrate knowledge mastery of relationship between banks, especially main bank, and other banks and front service windows. Working knowledge of 10-key adding machine, currency counter and cash advance machine.
