Lead the provision of specialist and strategic advice and information to service managers and elected Members. Ensures proper accountability and compliance with statutory obligations and corporate and professional standards. The Person required for Senior Finance Manager Children’s Detailed knowledge of schools and designated schools grant funding obtained in a local authority finance environment. Understanding of legislation relating to schools and designated schools grant funding. Previous attendance at Schools forum. Has experience of finance business partnering and forging successful partnerships. Benefits of Senior Finance Manager Children’s Role Agile working with very infrequent office attendance if necessary Flexible working hours dependent upon the individual so can be part time 25 hours a week or full time 37 hours a week to suit.
