Finance Manager – International Retail Group Role: Finance Manager Location: Hertfordshire some hybrd will be considered after probation Salary: Up to £55,000Reporting into: MD We are working with a fantastic Retail brand that specialises in the sale of coffee machine equipment across Europe. They fully develop, manufacture and market the most extensive product range in the industry, leading the market in the design and manufacture of professional coffee solutions. The role reports directly to the MD of CTW entity but the successful candidate will be given a significant degree of autonomy and thus will need to be a self-starter with confidence, resilience, and initiative. This new position in the company will require an initial set-up of controls and processes. Successful candidates must be CIMA or ACCA qualified. Major Accountabilities: Owner of all actual reporting and planning processes, coordinating actual reporting and financial forecasting to CTW deadlines, Operational support to improve understanding of cost structure, improve standard costing process, inventory control and business. Responsible for all aspects of the Finance function including AR and AP, general ledger, VAT. Preparation and submission of all local UK statutory reporting and tax fillings. Assist in developing systems and processes in the financial systems. Key Responsibilities: All aspects of month-end, budget and forecasting packages to be delivered on time and with good quality. Identifying root-cause of variances to communicate and lead the implementation of improvements across all areas of the business. Using financial analysis to suggest areas of improvement and liaise with the Managing Director to ensure areas of improvement are acted/followed upon Management of payments including suppliers, wages, PAYE, Pension, staff expenses etc. Review and renew insurance and other business contracts as required.
