MIG Welder (2nd Shift)

Dallas area small manufacturing company has immediate openings for experienced Welders, welding test will be given prior to employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating components by analyzing requirements; welding parts. Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques. Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds. Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with safety regulations. Duties: Welder Fitter - Experience - 5 years Perform all necessary operations with minimum supervision to layout and weld in any position all types of fabrications using automatic and non-automatic welders. Must work from blueprints, sketches, specifications and oral instructions. Directs work of others and responsible for the work of those directed. May be required to pass certification welding test. Owns own small hand tools. Performs other duties as directed. Welder A- Experience - 5 years. Perform all necessary operations with minimum supervision to layout and weld in any position all types of fabrications using automatic and non-automatic welders. Must weld in all positions. Must work from blueprints, sketches, specifications and oral instructions. Must be able to read and understand weld symbols and use weld gage. May be required to pass certification welding test. Owns own small hand tools. Performs other duties as directed. Welder B- Experience 5 year. Perform simple welding and tack welding. Must pass welding test in the flat and horizontal position. Able to use Oxy/Acetylene cutting torch to perform required operations. May grind, wire, brush, drill, etc. to assist welders and welder fitters. Performs other duties as directed. Skills/Qualifications: Welding and Fabrication, Basic Safety, Equipment Maintenance, Power Tools, Lifting, Dependability.
