In this newly developed role at Lab Alley, the Digital Content Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively across departments and be the voice in a thriving e-commerce business. As the Digital Content Marketing Coordinator, you will spearhead the development and implementation of our content strategy working across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet our business objectives in an efficient manner. The Content Marketing Coordinator will also play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness by engaging our target audience and generating leads through compelling and strategic content. Essential Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager to create a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's branding and marketing goals. Be the driving force behind content strategy, overseeing the content lifecycle from ideation to design to distribution. Produce well-crafted and engaging copy for customer-facing marketing materials including website content, landing pages, blogs, social media posts, video scripts, and email campaigns. Build content marketing programs and manage the content calendar with a focus on creating captivating digital content and videos. Plan and program content distribution across various channels to ensure a steady flow of on-brand messaging is being delivered to our target audiences. Think strategically to translate data and insights into creative content that delivers results, conversions and engagement. Research and develop new opportunities for digital and content-based marketing initiatives. Report on social, digital, and campaign performance through internal dashboards to be shared with Senior Brand & Marketing Manager and C-suite. Manage and update marketing data including lists and segments in addition to automations, notifications and flows for email & SMS. Ensure all content is aligned with the company's brand voice, style guidelines, and messaging, contributing to a consistent brand identity. Stay informed with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in content marketing and adapt strategies accordingly to keep the content relevant. Qualifications & Expertise: Required: 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably e-commerce. Experience in email & SMS marketing, preferably e-commerce. Experience with social media platforms, content calendars, and digital marketing strategies. Audience-focused mentality, can understand customer needs and challenges and translate them into engaging content. Ability to track key metrics and possess a keen sense of visual storytelling and a creative point of view. Strong writing background, with experience writing, editing, and proofreading content. Proven experience in content creation, copywriting & marketing. Demonstrate an ability to produce various content types, including blog posts, social media content, SMS & email campaigns. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred: Proficient knowledge of graphic design & video editing software, Figma, Asana, WordPress, Klaviyo, and Slack. E-commerce experience in email & SMS marketing. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
