Job Description Are you an Engineer looking to expand your horizons into Project Management? BAE Systems is looking for a strong candidate with a Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering background in Mobile Deployable platformsThe position is for a Project Manager who can lead innovative engineering solutions as the overall project lead and manage integration type projectsBAE Systems offers a robust and well-disciplined Project Management Training program leading to Project Management Professional certification for those candidates transitioning from an engineering roleAs a Project Manager, the candidate will oversee and manage the technical project(s) and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line managementThe candidate will also prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resources neededAs part of the Project Management Office, the candidate will review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reportsThe role will include the assessment of issues and development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectivesThe team member will also provide technical and analytical guidance to project teamThis position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the StMary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air StationThere is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this positionApplicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to StMary's County, Maryland or surrounding areasRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering and 6 years of C4ISR system design and mobile platform integration type projects Advanced problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills (Leadership, Peers, and Team) Well developed organizational skills Integrity, Honesty, and Respect Ability to think in logical steps and breakdown work elements in sequential order Influential interpersonal skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Project Management Professional certification Masters in Business Administration (MBA Degree) Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structuresHowever, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experienceEmployee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life, including their health and financial well-beingRegular employees scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are offered: health, dental, and vision insurance;
