The caseload will provide an opportunity to apply legal knowledge and skills to deliver optimal results for the firm's clients.Duties:Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.Conduct legal research and analysis to build a strong defense strategy.Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.Negotiate plea deals with prosecutors when necessary.Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and appeals.Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed about their case status.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.Requirements:Texas Criminal Law experience is preferred.Licensed to Practice Law in Texas.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Texas.Skills:Strong litigation skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Negotiation skills.Ability to manage a caseload efficiently.Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Paid vacation and sick time.401K with a generous employer match (eligible after 90 days of employment).Payment of Tennessee State bar dues and relevant Continuing Legal Education (CLE) fees.
