Position Overview Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director, Resident Care and Allied Health provides leadership in promoting person directed living. In collaboration with managers and colleagues, strategies for promoting excellence and innovation in service are identified, implemented and evaluated. The Director, Resident Care and Allied Health promotes stewardship of financial resources and ensures that adequate human and material resources are available to support the 24-hour delivery of safe, quality resident care. The Director, Resident Care and Allied Health creates an environment that enables the facility to fulfill its strategic priorities and achieve established performance goals. The Director, Resident Care and Allied Health seeks to promote and maintain a professional, team oriented and service conscious environment wherein quality improvement opportunities are pursued and risk is mitigated. The Director, Resident Care and Allied Health demonstrates a commitment to the purpose, strategic priorities and goals & objectives of the region/facility. Experience Demonstrated management expertise with a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in progressively more responsible positions within the health care field.
