For families, seniors, and individuals, Shelter provides clean, attractive, well-managed, well-located apartments and senior communities ' opening the door to gracious, dignified living The Property Caretaker is responsible for the interior cleanliness and appearance of all hallways, garages, stairwells, and vacant apartments. The Caretaker is also responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the exterior of the property. The successful applicant will: High school education or equivalent Excellent cleaning skills Clean all apartment turnovers within 24 hours of the agreed upon time frame set up by the Property Manager, which typically falls on the last and the first day of each month Keep all assigned interior and exterior areas clean and free of debris by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing, and scrubbing Remove snow form all sidewalks and entryways, keep dumpsters clean and odor free, deliver notices on a daily basis, pick up debris outside of the property, and maintain cleanliness and chemicals on pool and whirlpool on a regular basis Inform the property manager of any supply needs, review the turnover schedule on a daily basis, and assist with resident functions, with any areas of concerns being communicated directly with the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. Perform other duties assigned with the position, and maintain consistent attendance on the job Why Shelter Corporation?
