Summary Description The Customer Experience Representative is responsible for providing product order support to dental industry dealer representatives, dental practitioners, DentalEZ Sales colleagues and internal associates via phone, email, Skype, FaceTime and chat. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as advocate for the customer.Prioritize customer satisfaction in all interactions, actions and decisions.Based an office environment, field requests from customers for order support, i.e. order placement, order follow-up, return authorizations and consignment orders, via Oracle, an automated call distribution system and other digital media.Serve as liaison between Manufacturing and Sales/Customer to ensure that customer requirements are communicated accurately and on a timely basis.Provide accurate product information to customers.Provide accurate and prompt product information and feedback to Marketing for the development of product literature.Provide basic technical and part number assistance to customers.Compile accurate and complete order history, call history and other information as requested.Document customer interaction details electronically in database.Represent the department in meetings, projects and working groups.Participate in training of new sales colleagues.Travel as needed to dental shows, training, etc.Communicate and apply company policies regarding quality, safety, warranty and customer satisfaction. Maintain excellent customer service skills and continually refine and develop new customer service skills to ensure effective, efficient, friendly service. Embrace responsibility for accuracy of data entry. Respond to customer needs promptly and effectively. Maintain safe working environment. Comply with all safety regulations. Complete safety training as required. Prompt regular attendance is required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma (business courses preferred), some college preferred. 3 years' experience in Customer Service in a manufacturing environment - dental, medical or biomedical equipment preferred. Excellent data entry skills (speed and accuracy), including 10-key data entry. Ability to communicate effectively, persuasively and positively in person, via phone and other electronic means. Mechanical aptitude for learning technical product specifications and communicating them effectively to technical and nontechnical customers. Ability and willingness to travel about five times a year. Ability and willingness to work overtime. Ability to represent the company in a professional manner. Language Skills: Read, write, and verbally communicate in English. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using the personal computer, including Windows-based applications.Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control system. Reasoning Abilities: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.Person must be resourceful and a self-starter.Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have experience systematizing process flows for improved efficiency. Must be conscientious and detail minded. Must be able to work in fast paced, quick changing atmosphere. Authority Initiate solutions to quality related problems. Prevent non-conforming product. Make and implement decisions within their areas of responsibility. Report any potential safety hazards to supervisor. Report any work related illness, injury and/or accident to supervisor. Physical/Mental Demands: Must be alert, able to concentrate, able to use good judgement and analytical skills.Able to sit, stand and perform repetitive activities for sustained periods of time.Uses hands to type on standard pc keyboard frequently.Works in normally stressful environment with significant pressure.Move about facility to interact with employees.Multi-task on several jobs at once. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high stress office environment. Must be able to travel domestically.
