The Job at a Glance Assure ALL network nodes are connected and protected. Assist in establishing access controls, network design/maintenance, and proper security procedures to assure protection. A Typical Day Daily monitoring of security tools (software/AV). Collaborates on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed. Monitor daily or weekly reports and security logs for unusual events and trends. Assist with firewall/switch configuration, modifications, and routine maintenance. Management of communications equipment hardware life cycle. On-site testing for security compliance. Create and manage the storage of quarterly security reports. Respond to security related helpdesk tickets and emails. Position is 50% WFH 50% travel. What We Look For Excellent communications skills are required. (Verbal and written) Solid Layer 2 & 3 experience required. IT related degree/4 years IT related experience required. Fortinet FortiGate & FortiSwitch experience required NSE1-4 a plus Solid understanding of security principles required. ISC2 certification a plus Vulnerability resolution experience a plus VISIO experience a plus SIEM knowledge a plus Some O365 experience a plus Experience with helpdesk. (Phone/End User support) Available afterhours and on weekends occasionally Ability to lift 40lbs. Valid driver's license & working vehicle.
