A Psychiatry Physician General Psychiatrist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Pharr, TX. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Medical Doctors Only Apply. Psychiatry Physician Job in South, Texas. Inpatient Psychiatrist Needed in South Texas A psychiatrist is needed to join an inpatient unit due to physician shortages and a rapidly growing population in a beautiful area of south Texas. Currently, it is an adult-only unity, but there are plans to add an adolescent unit in the future. The group also moonlights for a local addiction treatment facility. Experience working with a diverse adult patient mix with high acuity is necessary for this position, and interest in adolescent care is a plus. Scheduling will be Monday through Friday with consults and call on a rotating basis. Student loan repayment is available in this position, as well as J-1 waivers. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus as well, but not required. There are also future academic opportunities.
