Join a company that prides itself on putting its people first Competitive remuneration of $49.44/hr A great opportunity for a dedicated Welder to work in a team-focused environment Harmac Pacific currently has an exciting opening for two (2) temporary (six months) Welders to join our team. Candidates will be working four 10-hour shifts per week. Our preferred candidate will be in good physical condition and able to work in all areas of the mill, while applying the full range of the welding trade functions to support breakdown maintenance including structural and pressure pipe welding, cutting, burning, heating, and pipe fitting. Candidates must be proficient with the Mill Stores System and Dynamics, with an Interprovincial Welding Trades Qualification. You are willing to assist with troubleshooting process issues as they relate to equipment operation, and work overtime requirements for breakdowns, planned mill shutdowns, and the requirement as outlined in the Joint Labour agreement. You must be able to participate as a member of a team of business partners who have a common interest in the success of the business. You are an independent self-starter, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a sound base of knowledge and experience. You are highly organized and adaptable to changes in the work environment. Along with your qualifications, you will be a proven team player who is excited about contributing to the business as a whole.
