Job details: Location: Sioux Falls VA Health Care System Address: 2501 West 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57105 Shifts: 3:30 PM to 12 AM Job Summary: Sanford Federal, Inc. is looking to hire a Housekeeping supervisor to provide supervision Duties and Services for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System. Qualifications: The CEH shall have at least one (1) year of prior Healthcare Sanitation experience as a CEH Manager within the last three years. Written certification of experience and copies of any formal training program (i.e., National Executive Housekeeping Association (NEHA) The CEH or stand-in representative shall be available during normal duty hours to respond by telephone within thirty (30) minutes of notification by the COR and shall be available to meet with COR or designated representative within 2 hours after notification to discuss problems areas. After normal duty hours, the CEH or stand-in representative shall be available within 3 hours. Duties: Ensure 100% coverage of all shifts Ensure that all team members report to duty on time and end their duty on time. Keep records/logs of all hours worked for payroll purposes. Be available at all times when on-site to respond to issues and concerns and provide support to the housekeeping staff ensure employees have an adequate workforce at all times, including any backup/on-call staff. Supervisor shall be proactive in identifying potential needs and shortages. Coordinate with HQ Recruiting Manager to notify if more team members are needed. Shall identify and screen potential candidates submitted by the Recruiting manager. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeepers and assisting with crowd control and ensure housekeeping staff is performing at an acceptable level. Be available at all times when on-site to respond to issues and concerns and provide support to the housekeeping staff You can take pride in working for a company dedicated to serving our government by providing the best, most cost-effective solutions for the US Government.
