Job Output The Account Manager is a liaison between with our regional representatives and our internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience from project conception through post-installation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage Turf projects from start to finish. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: Field inquiries relating to the physical and technical aspects of products Coordinate with internal teams to find solutions for unique product or installation scenarios Receive, process, and manage multiple incoming orders with unique requirements and timelines Create and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales reps, and designers Maintain a positive public disposition during high-stress situations Create, run, and analyze sales and pipeline reports Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Professional verbal and written communication skills Team player with active listening skills Comfortable learning and retaining new concepts on the fly Comfortable in technical, consultative-sales settings Able to diffuse difficult customer situations Able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail Understanding of the Architecture + Design industry is a plus Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Adobe Suite Proficiency in NetSuite is a plus Education and/or Experience BA/BS degree in Business, Communication or related field 2+ years of work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role Experience in the Architecture + Design field is a plus Experience working in cloud-based CRM system a plus Location & Reporting: This position works out of the Firehouse (Chicago office) and reports to the Manager of Account Management. This is a full-time, salaried position and exempt from overtime pay. Occasional travel to the manufacturing plant (Gilberts) is to be expected. Occasionally requires lifting 10-20lbs, could accommodate wheelchair, non-walker.
