Hohl Industrial Services, Inc. established in 1950, specializes in rigging, millwrighting and construction services for customers throughout the WNY region. We are currently seeking an Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs and preventative maintenance to hydraulic mobile cranes, heavy duty forklifts, specialized rigging equipment including gantries, Goldhofer multi-axle steerable trailers, heavy haul tractors & trailers and other construction equipment including excavators, backhoes and dump trucks. This position will be based in our clean, heated & well organized shop. From entry level to seasoned professional, if working on diesel engines and big machinery excites you to come to work every-day, then this is the job for you! Job duties will include: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide range of problems on various types of equipment typically used in the specialized rigging and construction industries. Preventative maintenance of equipment. Document repairs and preventative maintenance for record keeping and invoicing purposes. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Experience: Post-secondary training in mechanics or diesel preferred, or 2 years of experience in lieu of training. Good working knowledge of all machine systems, including diesel engines, hydraulics valves & cylinders, electrical systems, mechanical and fluid power-transmission systems, and processes typically used to repair and maintain them. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
