Coastal1 has an opening for a Business Intelligence Manager responsible for data research and reporting for key operational areas of the Credit Union. The role will also be r esponsible for providing business intelligence / financial and activity reporting to support the daily management of the Credit Union and respective departments. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide a central facility for business data and information requests across the Credit Union. Collaborate regularly with executive leadership in support of ongoing business initiatives including performance reporting and tracking. Develop and provide recurring financial and activity reporting. Create ad hoc reporting to assist in decisions ranging from pricing and new product development to portfolio analysis and regulatory requests. Manage and maintain the Credit Union's Marketing database (MCIF). Prepare sales tracking reporting at employee, branch, and institutional levels. Track results of direct mail and promotional efforts. Manage acquisition and integration of external lists for marketing purposes. Provide performance data and prepare slides for annual planning process. Other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university in business administration, Information Technology or closely related field required. Demonstrated ability to grasp research project goals at a macro level and apply this understanding to query design and results vetting vs. rote data retrieval. 5+ years creating, testing, and managing the execution of complex data queries in a Financial Institution. Proficiency with SQL, Marketing Customer Information File, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Knowledge of relational database reporting tools is preferred. Proven ability to gather and analyze data and information, draw logical conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Effective presentation skills. Must possess strong quantitative skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with time management/organizational/multi-tasking skills while keeping each on schedule and on budget. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to sometimes meet tight deadlines. Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat Credit Union image. Established ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions of Coastal1 to coordinate solutions. Ability to effectively balance policies, procedures and administrative requirements of the Credit Union and the individual needs of staff members. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
