Jefferson Healthcare ( www.jeffersonhealthcare.org ) is seeking a full-time ED Technician (CNA, M.A. or EMT). Under supervision of an RN or physician, the ED Tech supports nursing and physician staff with triage, care and treatment of patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries. They serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach, anticipating the needs of the patient and/or team by performing and completing tasks within scope of practice. (Application for a Washington State Phlebotomy Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire) Preferred: One year of recent emergency department, EMT, or related medical experience providing direct patient care, preferably in a free-standing emergency department, preferred.
