Position Summary: The Security Business Analyst's mission consists of supporting the Airbus Corporate Security organization in the deployment of security policies, standards, and procedures related to production ramp up and site expansion projects at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Site in Mobile, Alabama. Primary Responsibilities: The Security Business Analyst will support the Corporate Security team by: Establishing and nurturing a strong partnership with the business functions. (25%) Work closely with the business to ease their understanding of security, by supporting them in their security maturity assessment journey, and by ensuring the integration of security into their business processes, organization, and project deliverables Performing cybersecurity risk assessments. (25%) In early phases of new projects, assess cybersecurity risks according to Airbus methodology (training provided) Formulating cybersecurity requirements. (25%) When cybersecurity risks are identified, provide recommendations to treat the cybersecurity risks, and document the technical or organizational requirements Ensuring the follow-up of the implementation of cybersecurity requirements by the IT/IM teams and/or operational teams. (15%) Spot-checks or audits of projects completed post implementation / entry into service to ensure proper security controls are in place Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by the Corporate Security team. (10%) Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Required: Minimum - Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or similar field of study) Experience: Preferred: 1+ years in Project Management Preferred: 1+ Management of Cybersecurity requirements lifecycle (formulation, validation, verification) Licensure/Certifications: Preferred: ISO-27001, ISO-27005 (or similar industry standard cybersecurity certifications) Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Required: Cybersecurity protection principles Required: An understanding of standard Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) frameworks such as, but not limited, ISO27001, NIST 800-82, and ISA/IEC 62443 Preferred: Cybersecurity risk management (method and process) Preferred: Formulation of cybersecurity requirements Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to use tact and diplomacy to achieve objectives and to convince a diverse audience (non-technical, extremely technical, or C-suites). Team player, customer focused, proactive, and self-organized, with the ability to work in a complex environment and with a capacity to coordinate stakeholders from different locations and organizations. Advanced fluency level in the English language is a must. Written/verbal communication and presentation skills are supportive and desirable assets. Technical Systems Proficiency: Preferred: Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace (G-Suite) Travel Required: Less than 10% domestic (U.S.) or international travels per year Eligibility: Eligible for employment in the U.S. Clearance: None required Decision Making, Complexity: Awareness of any potential compliance risks, and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth Organizational information: The Security Business Analyst reports locally to the Industrial Security Project Leader in Mobile and regionally to the Chief Information Security Officer in Washington, DC. The Security Business Analyst will also work closely with, and serve as a regional delegate for, the Airbus Corporate Security organization in Europe. Direct Reports: Exempt: 0 Non-exempt : 0  Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success: Contributions of security requirements into project management documentation Performing security risk assessments and audits Nature of Contacts: Communication on a regular basis with Airbus internal employees and external contractors/suppliers Moderate communication on a regular basis with internal and external parties. Physical Requirements: Includes: Lifting, Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Standing, Squatting/Kneeling, Walking, Speaking, Hearing, Vision, Manual Dexterity, Travel. Include estimated time or percentage for each factor and maximum weight for lifting Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools and equipment including hydraulic lifts and arms Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg while engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on the shop Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at the computer and in meetings Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information Travel/Mobility: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time and on short notice Airbus in America provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
